Publishers and organizations don't always make their tests and assessments freely accessible, so we've put together a few resources that you may find useful in your search for examples.

It may take some time to find examples for your specific area of interest and age group, so we encourage you to set aside plenty of time for your research. Stay patient, and contact us if you need additional assistance or help.

- Why search here?
  ERIC, the Education Resource Information Center sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the U.S. Department of Education, is an online resource to education literature and research.
- What's included?
  Content includes journal articles, research reports, curriculum and teaching guides, conference papers, dissertations and theses, and books dating back to 1966. When provided by ERIC, there are links to the ERIC full text or links to other sources such as publisher websites.
APA PsycInfo® This link opens in a new window
- Why search here?
  This database is published by the American Psychological Associations and provides comprehensive indexing and abstracts of the international psychological literature from the 1800s to the present.
- What's included?
  Documents indexed include journals, articles, books, dissertations and more. 90% of the 3,000+ titles indexed in APA PsycINFO® are peer-reviewed.
Erikson Screening & Assessments Database This link opens in a new window
- Why search here?
  A database of over 250 Screening & Assessment Measurements in the Edward Neisser Library's collection.
- What's included?
  This database allows you to search for a kit by its name or acronym; browse the holdings alphabetically; filter the list of kits by development area, age range, who should administer the kit, language, type of kit, and whether or not the kit includes manipulatives. Follow links to library catalog to view current availability.

National Center for Health Statistics
Includes resources for surveys, datasets and documentation, research guides, etc.
Buros Center for Testing
The Buros Center publishes the Mental Measures Yearbook, and the website includes evaluations for tests and assessments.
Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions
This open access Measurements Database is an online directory that profiles a growing number of measures related to child and youth mental health and program evaluation. This online tool is free to access.
