Effective July 1, 2019, all full- and part-time employees must complete a Library Account Application form if they would like to borrow physical items from the Edward Neisser Library’s collection or via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
Employees will not need to complete a form to access our online resources such as journal articles and most eBooks. These resources will remain available using your Erikson Email username and password.
Why?
We currently create a library catalog account for every Erikson employee at the time of their onboarding, and as Erikson continues to grow, we cannot sustain this practice. We also need a formal agreement with library users to ensure that our material will be returned or replaced.
What you need to do:
- If you would like to borrow physical items from us or via ILL: Complete the form and bring it to the library prior to checking out items.
- If you are a contractor or temporary employee, you will also need a Departmental Statement of Responsibility form signed by your manager/supervisor.
- If you don’t borrow physical items from our collection or ILL, you don’t need to do anything at this time. If you ever decide to utilize our resources (we hope you will), you can complete the application then.
