Introduction to the ATLAS Platform

ATLAS is a unique, searchable online library of authentic video cases showing National Board Certified Teachers at work in the classroom.

Erikson has a limited number of licenses for this resource, so use is currently limited to students and faculty in the ECE Triple Licensure Program.

Students who will be using ATLAS in a class will have accounts created for them.  This account is separate from the systems you use your Erikson Single Sign on to access, such as Canvas, my.erikson, and Office 365 apps.

The resource is fairly self explanatory once you finish creating your account, but if you have any questions, please contact the library at LibraryHelp.

Follow the steps below to gain access to ATLAS.

Step 1: Welcome E-mail

You will receive an email sent to your campus email address from atlassupport@nbpts.org.  If you have not received this email, please contact the library at libraryhelp.edu.  We can resend the invitation if you cannot locate the email.

There is a link to click to finish setting up your account with ATLAS. Click this link. See Below:

Step 2: Set a Password, Accept Terms and Conditions

You will next be prompted to set a password.  This password should NOT be the same as your Erikson Single Sign On password.   Enter then repeat your password and click Submit.

You will next see the Terms & Conditions for using ATLAS.  Please read and click Accept.

Step 3: Dashboard Drop Down Menu Features

After accepting the terms and conditions, you will be taken to the ATLAS home page.

Click the Arrow to reveal the Dashboard Settings.

Clicking the Account Settings link will take you to where you can upload a profile photo, change your password, etc.

Your Instructors will also create Groups for your classes. You will also see these in your Dashboard.
